Enjoy a few days away during the quiet period between Christmas and New Year, its ideal for people who want to spend Christmas with the family and be home to celebrate the New Year. Perth is situated in the very heart of Scotland, on the edge of the Highlands, it is a bustling market town with shops, galleries, castles and plenty of history. The high street is a traffic free precinct with a wide variety of shops, many of the streets are comprised of elegant Georgian terraced houses.
Tuesday, 27 December
We travel North via Stirling, to Perth for 3 nights half board accommodation at the Salutation Hotel. Before dinner there will be a complimentary glass of bubbly. A three course dinner will be served from followed by music and entertainment.
Wednesday, 28 December
After a hearty Scottish breakfast we enjoy a morning excursion to Pitlochry and return to Perth for some free time. Tonight is Scottish night with a Highland themed dinner, crackers, hats and streamers at the ready! Entertainment follows and a raffle will take place with a chance to win a bottle of bubbly and some chocolates.
Thursday, 29 December
Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast followed by a morning drive to the Fife Coast, St Andrews and Dundee. After dinner there will be a night of variety, comedy and games.
Friday, 30 December
Depart after breakfast returning via the Scottish capital of Edinburgh for a stroll along Princes Street before making our way home via the borders. Arrive home early evening.

The SALUTATION HOTEL is situated in the heart of the historic City of Perth, the Gateway to the Highlands. The hotel has excellent facilities and together with a professional approach, friendly caring staff and a willingness to please. All the comfortable bedrooms are en suite with colour TV, telephone, central heating and tea making facilities. The restaurant features prime Scottish food and an extensive wine list. There is a lift to the first floor only.
