Sunday, 29 April

We travel via the main roads and motorways to Southampton for the short ferry crossing to East Cowes. We continue to Shanklin for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Channel View Hotel.

Monday, 30 April

We journey via Godshill and the sailing resort of Cowes, where we enjoy a lunch stop. We return via Arreton Barnes where you will experience real village life whilst watching the skilled local artisans at work in the craft centre, browse the local shops and take in the numerous displays of rural life in times gone by.

Tuesday, 1 May

We visit Osborne House to enjoy a glimpse of what life was like in the 19th century at Queen Victoria’s favourite palace. Osborne House offers a glimpse into the private life of the royal family and is filled with original furnishings and priceless artworks.  The grounds immediately surrounding the house are a joy to explore with stunning views of the Solent.

Wednesday, 2 May

A scenic coastal today as we travel via Brighstone Bay to the famous Needles. We return to our hotel mid-afternoon.

Thursday, 3 May

After an early breakfast we retrace our journey to Southampton, continuing north via the main roads and motorways to arrive home early evening.
