The coastline is made up of open sandy beaches, hidden coves, soaring cliffs and windswept dunes. Pembrokeshire is waiting to welcome you! Enjoy the FREE ‘HOUSE BAR’ for 1 hour each night at the Clarence House Hotel.
Monday, 12 April
We travel Southwest into Wales, through the Wye Valley and along the Pembrokeshire Coast to Tenby for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Clarence House Hotel. Enjoy a 3 course dinner followed by a slide show of local attractions.
Tuesday, 13 April
We visit St David’s an attractive village surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery, with a minute but interesting cathedral. We continue to Llys-y-Fran Country Park and Reservoir to explore the history and nature of the region.
Wednesday, 14 April
We travel to Camarthen Market and the unique and attractive township of Laugharne home to the famous poet and writer, Dylan Thomas. We return to Tenby via the popular seaside resort of Sundersfoot.
Thursday, 15 April
Half day to the ancient town of Pembroke, famous for its ancient castle, this historic showpiece is the birthplace of Henry Tudor, father to the infamous Henry VIII. We also include the Coastal National Park.
Friday, 16 April
Depart after breakfast and return via the main roads
and motorways. Arrive home early evening.
YOUR HOTEL **
The 2 Star CLARENCE HOUSE HOTEL is family run and is superbly situated in the centre of the Esplanade. There is an excellent restaurant, quiet lounge and a welcoming bar with sea views. All the bedrooms are en suite with colour TV and tea making facilities. Please note as befits this type of hotel all the bedrooms are different shapes and sizes. There is a lift although some rooms have a few steps to them.
