Friday 9 April
Morning departure to Liverpool Albert Dock, which showcases the best of the city in a World Heritage waterfront setting. The Albert Dock houses many award winning attractions including the Tate Liverpool, the Beatles Story, the Maritime Museum and many more. There is also a great selection of bars and restaurants. There’s something for everyone. Late afternoon we transfer to Haydock for overnight half board accommodation at the Holiday Inn Hotel.
Saturday 10 April
Morning departure to Aintree for the world famous Grand National. Saturday is the crescendo to the festival, when close to 70,000 racegoers descend upon Aintree for an unmissable day out. Tickets are for entry into the Tattersalls enclosure, this popular enclosure is the largest and most atmospheric enclosure at Aintree, offering an abundance of facilities, with access to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure, in addition to the colour and café style bars on the Red Rum lawn and around the Parade Ring. Ticket holders have access to the Irish Bar, live music in the Aintree Pavilion, tote betting, plus big screen viewing. After the last race we make our way home – Winners or Losers!!!!!
