Enjoy a traditional Welsh break in the hotel at the foot of Snowdon, set amid the mountains, pines and lakes of Snowdonia. This is a chance to enjoy the breathtaking scenery around Wales’s highest mountain, the North West Coastline and the Isle of Anglesey. Monday, 5 April (Easter Monday)
We travel via Cheshire to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, the spring flowers take on an aura of glamour in this beautifully landscaped setting. We continue into North Wales to Llanberis for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Legacy Royal Victoria Hotel. Enjoy a 3 course dinner followed by a slide show of local attractions.
Tuesday, 6 April
A leisurely day with Castles being a feature of the tour as we visit the towns of Criccieth and Caernarfon. After dinner there will be a magician and a local singer to round off the evening.
Wednesday, 7 April
A full day tour of Snowdonia includes a visit to the Llechwedd Victorian Village where you can spend some time exploring the shops and exhibits. After dinner there will be bingo and a local entertainer.
Thursday, 8 April
A tour to the Isle of Anglesey which is separated from the mainland by the Menai Strait, spanned by two picturesque bridges, the Menai Bridge and the Britannia Bridge, here we visit Beaumaris and Llanfair. There will be a Welsh themed dinner followed by a Welsh choir.
Friday, 9 April
Depart after breakfast and return home via Chester. Arrive home late afternoon.
