Monday, 5 April (Easter Monday)
We journey north to Threave Gardens, Castle Douglas a 64 acre property with rock gardens, large collection of daffodils and heather gardens. We continue to Irvine for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Menzies Hotel.
Excursions
A full day to the Isle of Arran dubbed ‘Scotland in Miniature’, we include a visit to Brodick Castle.
Full day Lochs Tour – Gare Loch, Loch Long and Loch Lomond. Experience the serenity of the ‘Bonnie Banks’ with its shores resplendent with spring flowers.
A full day to Glasgow where you have a choice of either browsing around the excellent shops and stylish café bars or visiting the excellent Burrell Collection or the central Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery.
Friday, 9 April
We depart after breakfast and travel via the Galloway Forest and Dumfries. Arrive home early evening.

The 4 Star MENZIES IRVINE HOTEL is located on the outskirts of Irvine and is an ideal place to explore the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. Facilities include a a relaxing cocktail bar, spacious lounge and restaurant. All the en suite bedrooms are equipped with colour TV, hairdryer and tea making facilities. There is no lift, some ground floor rooms are available.
