Scarborough is one of Britain’s most famous and inviting resorts with something to suit everyone at any time of year. This Edwardian Spa resort has fine architecture, an attractive harbour and two spectacular beaches dominated by a ruined castle. The November tour includes a great Festive Package, we also visit Goathland, known to millions as the setting for the TV series ‘Heartbeat’, and the thriving resort of Whitby.
Monday
We travel via Thirsk and Helmsley before continuing to Scarborough for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Royal Hotel.
Tuesday
Heartbeat Country – we visit Goathland, a thriving tourist destination which is the setting for the TV series ‘Heartbeat’ and steam enthusiasts come to see the unique railway station. We continue to the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, which has a unique old world charm and a maze of alleyways and narrow streets which run down to the busy quayside.
Wednesday
Free day to enjoy the resort of Scarborough at your leisure.
Thursday
Pickering Market day, then onwards to Flamborough Head and Filey.
Friday
Depart after breakfast returning home via York Designer Outlet Centre. Arrive home late afternoon.

The 3 star ROYAL HOTEL is situated in the heart of the resort and enjoys a fine position overlooking the South Bay. It is renowned for its elegant ballrooms and stunning staircase and the classical architecture is combined with modern features. There is a leisure centre with swimming pool and fitness centre. All the en suite bedrooms have colour TV, hairdryer, telephone and tea making facilities. There is a lift.
